State Elections, National Outlook

Results of the polls held in four states and a union territory Puducherry are telling the story of an evolving political landscape across India. Firstly, BJP has further cemented its position as a national party that will embolden the Modi Sarkar's reform drive. The anti-Modi bloc does find itself fragmented, but at the same regional leaders like Mamata banerjee and Jayalalitha have emerged stronger than ever before.
