How do I create an account?

Tap 'Sign up' on the login page, enter your email and choose a username. You'll need to verify your email to activate your account.

How do I set up my profile?

Go to Profile > Edit Profile. You can add a profile picture, bio, and links. Make your profile public so others can find you.

What is HitTop?

HitTop is a social platform where you can share short videos, long videos, articles, and play games with your community.

How do I upload a video?

Tap the Create (+) button, select your video file. Videos under 3 minutes in vertical format (9:16) are automatically classified as Shorts. Longer videos appear in the main feed.

How do I write an article?

Tap Create > Article. Use the rich text editor to write your article with formatting, images, and links.

What are Shorts?

Shorts are vertical videos up to 3 minutes long. They appear in the Shorts section and are optimized for mobile viewing.

Can I delete my content?

Yes, go to your profile, tap the three-dot menu on any post, and select Delete.

How do I follow someone?

Visit a user's profile and tap the Follow button. You'll see their content in your Following feed.

How do I send messages?

Tap the Messages icon in the sidebar or bottom nav. You can send text, images, and voice messages.

How do I join a group?

Browse groups in the Groups section, or get invited by group admins. Some groups are public and open to join.

How do I play games?

Go to the Games section from the sidebar. Browse available games and tap Play to start.

Are games free?

Most games on HitTop are free to play. Some may offer in-game purchases.

How do I change my password?

Go to Settings > Security > Change Password.

How do I make my account private?

Go to Settings > Privacy > Private Account. When enabled, only approved followers can see your content.

How do I block someone?

Visit their profile, tap the three-dot menu, and select Block.

How do I report content?

Tap the three-dot menu on any post and select Report. Choose the reason and submit.

The app is loading slowly

Check your internet connection. Try clearing the app cache or refreshing the page.

I can't upload videos

Ensure your video is under 2048MB and in MP4, MOV, or WebM format. Check that you have a stable internet connection.

I'm not receiving notifications

Check your notification settings in the app and your device's notification permissions.
